Default the worst day

i was getting some last minute christmas shopping in and i was driving through a parking lot getting ready to park and i drove past a cop. he then follows me through the parking lot and he puts on his lights on. he pulls me over in the lot and says "didn't i give you a ticket not to long ago for not having a front plate." i said yeah and he said why don't you have it on blah blah blah. then he gives me a ticket and i asked him why he is the only cop that pulls m over for this. he bugged out made me get out of the car and said i can't drive until i get a plate on the car. well i parked it and waited a while then left to go home. i put my plate on and then went back so i can do some shopping. then the worst happen. i parked in a spot and went inside the store. some kid goes up to me and said do i own a s2000. i said yes. he tells me he watched some big truck back into my car. i didnt believe him because i thought he was kidding. i went right out side and then seen it. tail light all busted off and bumper all f'ed up. i am happy that the person waited for me to come out. everything worked out great and i had a police repot made. just wanted to tell about me shitty day

Front plates are about the dumbest excuse for car ID in the U.S. anyway. Maybe give the sheep a tax cut if they run front plates, whatever, but don't make it mandatory! I will be hard pressed to EVER move to a state that requires front plates on MY car!

(sigh of disgust) exhale....whew

Ohio is anal about front plates. It seems that there is a little feud going between the cops and some sports car owners. In the news the police stated that they will search out and ticket any car without a front license plate. Doesn't that seem so much more productive than actually doing things that police officers should do? Like maybe serve felony arrest warrants?

I'm glad I moved to Indiana.

Well the cops don't really bother people for front plates that much in Jersey.
But i think his 10% tint job all around has something to do with it.
They like to check it out.

Here in Houston, the cops don't really hassle with you if you dont have a front license plate. Unless the cop doesn't have anything productive to do or he is just a complete jerk, which I have had experience with (on other cars.) So far no one has stopped me for no plate on my S2000...
I also believe that it is a stupid and ridiculous law. That and the "seat belt law", sure it saves lives but it should be up to the driver to decide, since no one other than the person not wearing the seatbelt is at danger.... Enough rambling!

Happy Holidays..
Evan

I like the seat belt law.
I don't want people flying out of their cars, in case i hit them heh.
Now who's fault is that?
