Go ahead and buy the bracing if you want, its not too expensive. Upper strut bars are a waste of money, but X-braces help a bit and are fairly inexpensive.

The T1R strut bar looks promising with it's 4-point mounting.

I don't get it... if these are pointless, then why do so many people use it? Along with the hardcore track guys.

I'd only buy a coilover set if I was a car show freak or a track freak

I tend to agree, the stock suspension's mighty good. The S2000 has a factory strut bar. It's right under the air cleaner.

I'm not quite sure that a set of Koni yellows is an upgrade on the stock suspension. Might be a downgrade. It's easier to F up a car than it is to make it better.

Most upgrade parts are sold because they're pretty. Not because they do anything.

So basically you guys are saying there is no way to improve the handling of the car? This is really making no sense to me... I don't know.

The stock suspension on our cars is mighty impressive so it can't be improved upon cheaply like is possible with so many other cars. I was planning on lowering my car on coilovers, but now I am leaning towards Koni's and springs, I'd love to hear from people that are actually using them.

I'm in the same boat at it seems most people are. I love the stock suspension and track the car every once in a while, but I hate wheel gap especially with aftermarket wheels... Its like being between a rock and a hard place.

Yeah... it basically seems like you better spend at least $3000 on something really good or don't spend anything at all.

I wish ,I had JRZ coilovers ,but I don't,$$$$(So much for brand names,racka )
I have KG/MM Supersport,progressive springs,and Koni on second perch,75% firm in front,and 25% in rear.
Car is lowered about 1.1",handling is much improved over stock, and ride is a little firmer(maybe quite a bit firmer )
