Default Is It Worth The Price Difference?

So i am getting ready to buy a exhaust system for MY00. I want to keep the dual system on it so it doesnt look like the typical civic w/ a tip you can stick a baseball in. I have talked about this with other people and post a few times. Up until yesterday i was going to pick up T1R 70R Sparrow, Then as i was searchin the net i came across the new Amuse R1 Titan Extra... I love the way this exhaust looks and from the one video i found i like the sound to. BUT i do understand that it is a titanium exhaust that would weight next to nothin... but is it really worth the money??? It would cost me more then double what the T1R would.

Compared to what???? paper?

The amuse R1 single is full titanium and weighs next to nothing. Maybe 10 pounds at the most. Not sure what the dual weighs

The dual supposedly weighs about 15lbs.

Heavier than aluminum, lighter than steel.
Steel = .283 lb/in^3
Ti = .16 lb/in^3
Al = .1 lb/in^3

An aluminum exhaust wouldn't exactly be a great idea, though!

So is it worth it? I am sure that the power gains would be about the same...

Amuse R1 Titan Extra
$2400.00
12lbs
60mm piping

T1R 70R Sparrow
$1200.00
35lbs
70mm piping

Which one should i go with?

To some people it is and to some people it isn't. What matters is do you feel it is worth it?

I like the Amuse better than the T1R. It sounds great, its lightweight, nice craftsmanship, but its pricey.
