Would you buy this?
Oh its been repaired? Get him to take it to a shop with a frame rack and have him print out the results, also try to get him to do the same for alignment specs. If everything looks great, then shoot go for it. Of course your stuck with a salvage title but who cares, you got it for cheaper lmao thats the point. See what the KBB is for that car nonsavlaged and compare. Do your own research, dont ask assholes on here who think their S2000 is some kinda supercar ... Its a Honda not a Porsche.
I bought mine from an auction for $3900 in similar condition and sold it making a couple grand profit after all was said and done. I've seen AP2's in the auction given a Salvage title with Soft-Top tears and stolen Headlights/Projectors/Seats.
In this case it is purely cosmetic, buy it, fix it for dirt cheap via purchasing parts on this forum and be on your way.
Who ever repaired that knows what to look for in a Salvage title car. I'd pick that up and fix it in a week and flip it easy. There are tons of people open to buying Salvage title S2000's, believe me.
EDIT: Even if the subframe was kinked buy another one on here for $150 and spend 3 hours swapping it.

I see you live in SD I live in Orange County. I wouldn't mind buying from an auction and fixing myself. Where are the so. cal salvage yards?
Update.....this car has been repaired, (seems a lot of people are missing this point) it's most likely a flip but he claims the subframe is good. He got an alignment and it pulls to the right a bit, he thinks it due to excessive camber and bald front tires?? I think I'm going to pass on this one and build up my own if they are easy to come by at salvage yards?
You'd have to look on IAAI or CoPart. S2000's regularly go for $3000-6000 depending on damage. Due to how far back the motor is they are good candidates for repair. You'd have no trouble finding one, there is usually a list of over a dozen every month since owners of these cars for the most part have no idea how to drive and go WOT in turns with bald tires in the rain.
I literally bought an entire front end for the car I purchased in the same color (so no paint required) and everything else I needed for $1500 on this forum. The car I had did not require body work, I slapped it all on in my garage and had an S2000 for less than $6000 that drove like any clean title one would.
Even if you spot one with minor front end damage (Core Support) dealership sells those cheap ($350'ish) and you just have it replaced, etc.
There are a few Junkyards down here who buy and flip S2000's regularly, one actually has 3 sitting in front for sale and there are tons and tons of ricers who come by looking to be owners.
You can get an AP1 (02-03 with the glass window and minor improvements) for dirt cheap, I'm talking about clean title last generation Civic price. BUT, I'd suggest you look for an early AP2 instead.

personally, i wont buy it.. i'll just invest my money on a clean title vehicle incase you sell it in the future, thats just me..
I would stay away from salvaged cars.
On a slightly unrelated yet interesting side note:
The guy who fixed the Ferrari Enzo that Eddie Griffin wrecked sold that car for at least $1.1 million.
Whoever bought that Enzo must've been desperate to buy it because a non-salvaged Enzo costs about the same...
