Unhappy Would you convert your car in a piece of art?

Today style is a big factor in car industry.

Car enthusiasts enjoy modding their cars in order to achieve that kind of uniqueness.
Other just personalize their car in order of their lifestyles, others just go with the fashion tendencies, other just loose their taste for what is nice for the eye.

I was looking at some pictures of sharpie art and that kinda intrigued me.

I'm not an artist, but I appreciate it a lot. So I kinda thought why not have a piece of art on my car... or maybe make the car itself an art piece.

I'm not talking about making stickers, I'm actually talking to PAINT the car.

I own a black berlina 03 with 18 volk bronze rims.

So there's this local artist, known worldwide for her murals and paint.
I tought I might propose her to paint My hood with just a broze/gold sharpie.

What's your thought?
Would you do that to your car?

Depends. If its something stupid looking - think heroine with a shield on the hood or some tacky found-at-a-biker-rally airbrush type work - Hell no.

If it came out like the sharpie Lambo in Miami, hell yes.

With a Sharpie?

If you're going to do it, do it right.

Someone find that picture of the airbrushed dragon S2000....

it could be done with brush, I said sharpie coz I looked at the lambo.

But she would probably choose the tool.

Would you clear coat afterwards? How would you protect it from fading and washing away?

Yes I would clear coat it.

Also I'm thinking about doing this on a used or maybe aftermarket replacement hood.

About the style;

I agree that not everybody would like the painting, art is a very personal/subjective thing.

I'm curious if other owner would do this to their cars.
