Default Would you have still bought a s2000

Just curious.
In my opinion the s2k is ugly with the black soft top.

vert is nice
hardtop is nicer.

Please no flames.

Mine didn't come with a hardtop, nor did I spend the $3500 to get one. So, yes, I guess I would have bought it even if they didn't make hard tops. I thought about buying one last winter but didn't. This year for another grand I'll just buy a nice little winter driver. $3500=hard top. $4500=another car for the winter!

Seeing as most (90%+?) S2k's were sold without hardtops, I think the answer is yes.

Yup. I choose a s2k because of the driving experience and it looks good top up or top down.

My first test drive was with the soft top both up & down and I was disappointed. The moment I drove one with the hardtop it was perfect for me. So I would not have bought the car if Honda did not sell the hardtops.
