Yes but I'd like to choose the amount and only if it provided restricted access to some information

Would you subscribe to S2KI?
i would definitely be willing to chip in and subscribe to s2ki. it is one of the best web boards that i have ever come across. there is a endless amount of knowledge to be gained from this website. i have been a member for 154 days. for a long time i did not post anything. i simply lurked around on the website and researched answers to all the questions in my mind. now after some time i feel as if i have learned a great deal and i love imparting what i have learned to others who are in the same situation that i was in a couple of months ago. i love this website. i spend most of my day on it. i feel that it provides a great place for owners and enthusiasts alike to gather and share their thoughts. it is a tight knit community of car enthusiasts and i love the comraderie. count me in if you were ever to need to start charging a subscription fee.

"Only 12% of viewers even bothered to vote so figure them as a no." said cthree.
This is somewhat unfair as it seems that only Cedric Tomkinson even knew about this thread over on this side of the pond. The first the rest of us Brits knew was the announcement that appeared on our board today. There is life outside the U.S. borders, guys
Anyway, I for one have already said (on the UK board) that I would pay $20 p.a. What's lacking I feel is a simple explanation of what functionality and features is going to be available to whom.
What does a basic (free) member get?
What does a $20 p.a. member get (already explained)
What's the difference between a $50 Gold member and a $200 Gold member?
Pete
PS as to payment methods, "Paypal" would seem a good option
Just my 2 pence (sorry, cents)

[B]Well, offense (sic) taken.
It's difficult to look for something you don't know is there.
My point was that, on this side of the water, it's only the UK board that we check out on a day to day
