Thanks wingman for the kind support! I guess it would be inappropriate to ask you to make your sig image a little narrower huh?

I hate this job

Hey, I said my folks raised me to be grateful...but they never said I had to do it anonymously! And all joking aside, IMO it is *that* additional little information found in mine (and other supporters) avatar that might additionally advertise to new members that this site accepts donations to keep it successful.
Now, THAT is a simple, useful idea that I could support. Like w1ngman, I'm grateful to be able to have a car like my S2000, which I love more every day. I'd hate to see a "members only" area, but I do want to be able to do my part to help keep this site here for the long haul. And I think a simple recognition of that support, without "levels" or other class distinctions, is appropriate and desirable. Kind of like "owner" and "enthusiast" -- both are worthy folks, but owners are more worthy.

I, too, would not like to see a "members only" area. W1ngman, CRussel, etc., imo are right on.

WTF, so why not a "Silver(stone)" level for the small number of ppl who can afford it and might pony up $100 per year

Well, after 3 weeks of intense labor I'm happy to announce that membership signup is now online!

To become a member and show your support please go here https://www.s2ki.com/trade/productlist/1 and choose the option that best suits you. We're accepting major credit cards, paypal and snail-mail checks and money orders.

It's still a semi-manual process so bear with me. Site changes as mentioned above wont go into effect until July 1 to allow time for transition (read I still have work to do) but memberships will have the extra days tacked on so you will still get a year's exclusive access to the membership features.

We are offering a 5% discount to members on all merchandise in the S2KI Store which will include Jerry Peterson's S2000Porn Volume 2 DVD and another very nifty owner designed product as well in the next couple of days. Stay tuned for more unique S2000 products.

I'll be posting a general announcement shortly. Thank you everyone who encouraged me to move ahead with this program. I think it will add considerable value to the site and make possible a lot of things that otherwise wouldn't be.

This site is beyond valuable to me. A once a year fee is fine if that is what it takes to keep s2ki running soundly. cthree works hard on this site and should be rewarded for doing so. However, there should be some kind of restriction for visitors. Something like they're able to read but not post, or something. We must do what ever it takes for s2ki to stay alive and healthy.
