Ill just leave this here

= horsepower

T = Torque (lbft)
N = Speed (rpm)

so again F20c >>> F22c eeeerrryyytime....
So you think less power & displacement with more oil consumption is better because it revs about 1k RPMs higher... maybe you should swap a 2 stroke into your s2k and really live it up

Less power?? Lol which world do you live in? The f20c makes the same power and only 10 less torque than F22c, which it makes up by the 1000k extra RPM. By the way the JDM f20c makes 250hp which is more than your lil f22c. Haha my AP1 doesn't burn a drop of oil

Your statement "which it makes up by the 1000k RPM" is wrong on so many levels. First of all, 1000k RPM would translate to 1,000,000 RPM. Look up dyno charts for stock f20c vs f22c, the f22c consistently makes 10+HP more than the f20c despite what the factory rating states. Less power and torque is still less, even if the engine revs higher. The difference in maximum RPM (before fuel cut interrupts) is actually only 800 rpm, not 1k like people often claim (8,200 rpm for f22 vs 9,000 rpm for f20) and many people have raised the rev limit on their f22c with no problems. They are both great engines, but I will correct you when you make blanket ignorant statements like "so again F20c >>> F22c eeeerrryyytime...."

Ap1 handles better when you're tooling around town. Ap2 handles better at the limit. Ap2 is the safer, more cooperative handling car..which is what I prefer.

I can see/understand where you're coming from.

To me..I would agree..the AP2 is a faster car!
I think on a track...long sweeping curves...
long straights..yes after some thought the AP2 to me is faster!

BUT!!!
I don't drive "Road Atlanta"..."Lime Rock"."Watkins Glen"..
and yes I could throw a football and deposit it on the doorstep
of Daytona International Speedway but I don't drive there either!

I dont track/autocross etc. but I do drive around town and now
I've driven 3 AP1's in the past week..2 of them to me were more
exciting than my AP2.
Yes..my AP2 is "eye-candy".."pimp cruiser" lol when compared to the
mostly Suzuka AP1's I've driven...
but the AP1's had better throttle response..were tighter and lighter..
just seemed more nimble and were easy to kick out the tail.
2 of them also felt quicker..not faster but quicker round town.

I'm seriously considering a trade..I like..umm..love... small and
nimble which any S is..I would very much like to make my 2 feel
lighter/stiffer/tighter and better throttle response..dont
know if thats possible for reasonable cash..if not theni could trade for
a Suzuka '03 with 31K miles..and the great news?..it would still
have a big H on the hood!

Trade me your 06 for my 01 then.

No seriously, give me your glasstop, sexy tails, better radio, VSA for when mother nature goes to shit and flashpro in exchange for my rawness.

sigh... a topic that will never die. Oh, and I can't believe that people still don't know the basic differences in the two engines. Bottom line; both have 238hp (240hp before silly new standards) and the 2.2 delivers 9 more lbs of torque.
Interestingly enough we should all want the unrestricted Japanese version AP1 since it delivered 247 HP and 161 lbs tq.

First of all, 1000k RPM would translate to 1,000,000 RPM. ...way to funny ...
