It is and always will be an conversation of which is better "imo that's only up to YOU" ...either way we all love our cars and it shows ...no S2000 is the wrong choice ..they all

Adjust the valves in your Ap2. Give it new plugs if it needs it, new air filter, fluids maybe too.

Outside of that, its probably just a placebo affect.

My car felt completely different after Billman performed his magic, basic maintenance can make a significant difference.

it's not exactly that. Sounds like an ap2 owner who drove a ap1 for the first time, and didn't think there'd be that much difference in what seems to be the same car. At least, if it is an ap1 vs ap2 thread, it's dressed up in an original method.

This. Long story short; I got my car back today and thought I had bent/warped valves. Turned out the valves had tightened up on cyl 2&3. I haven't felt the car pull this hard in a long time.
