SUVs are being driven by the same people that think the S-02's are an all-season tire. many of them come with "performance tire" "upgrades" that don't do diddly in adverse conditions.

our two suv's ride on dedicated snow/ice tires and then on M&S tires during the other 3 seasons. yes, suvs end up in ditches, but so do sedans and convertibles.

appropriate tires make a world of difference.

Great thread to warm my heart on yet another cold winter's day. My Blue has been sitting this one out so far. Maybe next winter I'll take the plunge for some Blizzaks.
I've seen an '04 Yellow s2k in the lot at work with stock 02's.
Problem around here is they use alot of cinders. This would kill my paint.

snow tires are A MUST in Lithuania from november to march. You don`t have them - you get a ticket
Now we have a lot less accidents

U mean like theese conditions.

Seriously, I was just driving like that for a few days. And being a swede and living in the nordic european countries, I know how to drive a car in snow/ice conditions.
1 day after those images were taken i bought my winter car. A 1983 Toyota Celica, RWD of course. And WITH winter tires of course.
