Default WOW, Rick's Aeroscreen bumpers really work!

I installed the free aeroscreen bumpers that were sent to me by Rick, and what a difference they made! My Rick's 7/8 Aeroscreen is now rock steady. Installing them also cured the minor squeak/rattle which had been a problem with the original mechanism.

Thanks Rick.

I'm very happy to read this report. I've had them on my car for two weeks now and I agree.

Well, I've now gone thru my first set of bumpers. Thanks for including two pair, Rick.

I let mine adhere for approx. 24 hours then drove up to Ft. Meade for the Auto-X doing approx. 90-100mph for a good distance (just keeping up with traffic ) since I was running very late. Rick knows what the weather has been like in the DC area lately (the same as Bawlmer w/out the toxic fumes).

Anyway, I had one bumper actually come flying over my shoulder and I could tell that the other one had been pushed forward about 1/2".

I've put the other set on a little further forward than the last pair but am worried that because the mechanism has been forced so far forward since the larger screen was installed that there won't be a way to keep it verticle.

Any ideas?

Gregg,

This concerns me because I haven't gone that fast with mine -- only about 90 mph. If they don't work the next time around, you may need to anchor them with super glue or small screws. Contact me if you decide you need to take this step.
