Our local paper has been running stories discussing the same thing last week.

I think the increased police presence this year was due in a large part to this.



The next day the cops were everywhere on the dragon, police cruisers, a helicopter, motorcycle cops, an unmarked car, the works.

The routes for sesm are incredible!! IMO better than driving the dragon. I did a complete run through of the sesm routes last weekend and they are going to be a blast.

I'm pretty conservative because there is a lot of oncoming traffic i.e. motorcycles. You kinda have to make up for other ignorant drivers. You really stay in 2nd and 3rd gear the whole way. I did manage to wear the front tires off in that single weekend though! :-P

It's not like the cops are going to shoot you. If they pull you over you get a ticket, and it costs some money. Big deal. What are you 'afraid' of?

Same thing holds true for any and all public roads.

Obviously, I don't advocate being a complete moron on any public road, but if you get a little carried away, it's not really THAT big of a deal.
