Wouldn't glueing it down be worse? Say the perp gets frustrated that he cannot take the antenna...he is so mad he dents or keys your quarter panel. To me...a $16 jacked antenna is better than $1000 repaint of a quarter panel, especially since most people have a deductible.
Agree, i mean some things you gotta take it, like seat locks, here in south florida we have a huge problema with seat theft, i honestly see those bastards get frustrated and TRASH cut rip of with knifes the seats .... this little car has it's risks ... full insurance covers that, in the case of the antenna gluing IMO makes it way worst ...

I've been lucky so far.
If they take my antenna I'd only be pissed because the only time it is used is when I cover the car.
I rarely use my stereo anyway, they'd have to jack my entire exhaust to mess up my daily music.

With only 650 miles on my car somebody poped out the side turn lights and cut the wires off flush with the fender. About $50 for replacement lights, but a real pain trying to splice new wires inside the fender. I park infront of the bar now where I can watch the car from my bar stool.

Anyone have a screw-in plug that can replace the stock antenna? Like Mulder, I rarely use the radio, and would prefer to just remove the antenna.

yeah anything like that? it would be nice in case someone took it, and I think it would clean things up a bit too.

It happened to me once. Luckily it happened when I was out and not at my apartment complex where I was living at that time. Had it happened there, I would have never replaced it. Things happen dude. Get over it. It's probably the most least expensive, best bad, easily exchangable, non-insurance contacting thing that can happen to your S.

Yeah, I was think of that too. Anything like a screw-in plug? I know for sure the mofo is going brad this sh*t to his friends and they'll come by again and jack my new antenna a-gain.
