I parked in that spot because there were no trees around it, it was very windy last night. Also if it were natural, I can't picture where that branch fell from to land like that, and how did it manage to miss the 7' tall Expedition parked next to me and land perfectly on my car like that?

This sounds like a case for Veronica Mars.

But seriously, that sucks. When I used to live in an apartment, I always worried about my car. Hopefully everything turns out ok.

It's college... the concentration of stupid people is usually high. Move to park/ keep things you value away.

Not worth it. I bet you'll spend way more on the garage then you ever would for damage to your S on campus. And if there is any serious damage like a slashed top, your insurance will cover it.

No way I'd spend $160/month.

Any campus cameras in the area? Check with faculty and see. In any case ,I'd report the incident to the school administrators. My condolences. This is most certainly a deteriorating society.

I go to UConn, I reported it to UConn Police, not much they can do but they did say it'd help knowing where vandlism is taking place so they can crack down. Nope no camera's in the area either

The way I see it, it's the same as spending money on insurance, piece of mind.. Yes I'll spend more money but who knows what can happen next? I'd rather know that my car is locked away and safe then take my chances, but that's just me
