Got my grill today... looks ok, but I donno about paying $100 for it. Anyways... it doesn't fit. The thing is about 1/3-1/2" too tall. The grill doesn't mount flush. So unless I mount it at a slant, which still doesn't work because the screws are too short, not to mention it looks very tacky. any one else have this problem? Did I get a bad one?

Did you make sure the plastic trim is seated completely around the perimeter? You may have to use some force to get it snug. It is a tight fit.
Just my two cents.

I have fitment issues with one of the side grills. The front grill fits perfectly in mine... so I believe it is a fitment issue--quality control ain't so great.
The manufacturer of the grill told me that Honda isn't consistent with the molds on their front bumper... are you kidding me? Honda's not consistent, but you are?
Overall, I love the look of the grill. Sharpens up the car. But the manufacturer's attitude is... not up to Rick Hesel standards.

just tried again, the whole thing is too big, not just the centerpart. Basically there not way to get it to fit unless I want to deform the bumper... if I fit the bottom part to where it's at the edge of the painted part, there's about a 20 degree angle. that's a tad too big wouldn't you say? Guess I'll have to call tomorrow.

well, I managed to get it on there. it's a little tight... I am kinda worried about it rubbing off of the paint. I had to do one side first and then the other side... kinda "forced" the issue. But it's on there. Just have to figure out how to prevent it from eating up the paint. anyone have this issue?

Shingles,
I got the grill piece to fit(it was tight), but the double sided tape on the two side pieces wouldn't touch the black fake grills(pieces were to large). I called s2000accessories, & they resent two more(just a little smaller), & those fit fine(they told me that at Ashville, they found out that the nose pieces on several S2000's were different than others). I would suggest getting some silicon(hardware store) to help attach them. They had me send the orginals back to them(pre-paid by them). They aim to please.
