How much does this thing weight?
Have not received it yet (MG GB #4) but got charged over $20 for UPS ground to Washington!
Figuring backwards, that's over 30 lbs!!!!
WTF?????
Is the expected result worth the extra tonnage?

Ray,

I think turbo_pwr's got it right. I can check my receipt at home, but I remember something like $20.

Let me know if you want to borrow my allen socket set for this (although knowing you, you've probably got 'em already).

Ted

if you have questions about the install check out http://www.s2000online.com/forums/showthre...p?threadid=7587

yeah, it's weight plus over-size charge. could be worse, if you ordered the STB as well then you'd also be charged for number of packages (grin).

Oh GOOD, I was not going to be happy strapping a 30 lbs anchor to the beast.

Thanks for all the quick response!

Ted, thanks for the offer on the tool, I'm pretty sure I've got the right size hex socket but you never know.

the weight of the box is 5 pounds and 9 ounces.

but yeah, i think the size is why it qualifies as a 10 pounder.
