What a Christmas present the weatherman brought me: clear, blue sky, warm 35 deg F temp, no wind. It was the perfect opportunity to take the S2000's odometer from 535 miles to 615 miles, across the magical 600 mile threshold!

I had a BLAST up and down the interstate and on long, beautiful country roads. Of course, I had the top down to admire the snowy, beautiful Big Horn mountains. My 22 year old son, who is home for Christmas from Utah where he's working to help put together the 2002 winter Olympics, rode shotgun!

I had just enough sunlight and warmth to wash and dry the car and tuck it into the warm garage before the sun set and froze up the remaining wash water in the driveway.

My wife, Jane, gave me a detailing brush and special sponges for washing the S2000's wheels. She's adorable and happy to see me have so much fun AND I AM!

 

 

That's great, Barry. Sounds like the weather's better in Wyoming than in Maryland .

 

I ended Xmas Eve with 575 miles, and waited today for VTEC as my Christmas present as well! Man I love the sound of the engine screaming!

 

11400 miles ago, VTEC on my car became a reality and its been sceaming since! I am so glad I hit 600 miles the first day I had it! Long drove at low revs, but well worth the wait!
