Of course, you're absolutely right, and you guys do a great job of keeping the peace here (most of the time ), so I take it as a given that I'll never find a better forum or a more informed membership. I may still need to take a break, because I'm anticipating arguments before they even start, and it's making me uncomfortable about posting. Nobody will miss me if I do leave for a while, becaue at least 99% of what I know about the S2000 was taught to me by people here on S2kI, and all those old posts are available for anyone who can figure out how to search the forums. It's nothing like losing a guy like XV, and if I take a break I'll probably be able to come back later and bring along a lower stress level.

Ur not going anywhere. I have only been on this board for a short time but in the few months i have been on here i have purchased a membership and have learned a great deal from you and xviper. From the DIY's and hundreds of posts I find using the search button Idk what I would do without some of the great people on this site. I came from being an srtforums vet knowing that car like the back of my hand and I hope one day to do the same here learning from experienced people like xviper and urself.
im a complete s2k/s2ki newb and xvipers diy are very informative and inspiring. mx5 i enjoy a lot of your posts as well. Xviper is what originally brought me here, hope hell be back someday
Add me to the list, xviper was invaluable to these boards. I wish he would be a little more humble, though. Respect goes very far.

Your dad bought you your S2000 and it's your first car. You can definitely not talk shit about other people's cars. Those immature idiots who bought the cheap S2000 at least bought it themselves.
He didn't die or get banned. He chose to leave the forum. What's the big deal? People come and go every day.
If he wants to come back, he will.
A petition to have someone come back that left on their own? Give me a break. I've been around here a long time and he's a good guy IMO, but he chose to leave and he'll choose to return if he wants.
Whether this petition brings back XV or not, is irrelavant. This petition is too show the supporters and to acknowledge all the great things XV has done for this forum and its members. XV its your choice whether you do come back or not, but if you dont you and all your post will be missed.
