"It's just the internet..."
Well, it sure feels real when your car is making funny noises and your dealership has no idea what is going on....
If we were just talking about someone who blabs about street races or how big his d!(k is... then fine.
But we're losing one of the few people that knew about car maint, SC maint, and S2000 problem solving.
I'd be pissed if I lost my mechanic, vet, doctor... that's how I feel about losing XViper.
It's real to me.

i've been here for a short time and have read many DIY threads where Xviper wrote most of it. I came to truly appreciate my car more because of Xviper. This is the first car that i've even touched the fluids (oil, diff and tranny). I thank Xviper for all the informative posts that he's contributed from the past. I hope that there are many other members out there who can be like him so that this forum doesn't go away. THANKS XVIPER, YOU HELPED ME ENJOY MY CAR MORE!!

What is it worth? I don't think this is a battle that will make a cange for the good. I think loosing Xviper was a loss to the site, and to hear that others are considering the same route, it bothers me. Think of what we are doing, and who will be loosing out. No one will win. How could you walk away and not ever look back to the community that has developed into a information network and for some a great group of friends. You are not only giving up on us as a community, but you are giving up on yourself as a member of this great community. I guess what it all comes down to, people are people and they will do what they want. Just think, if Ben Franklin, Albert Einstein, Sir Isaac Newton, or anyone of that stature decided to quit when people doubted them or made them mad where would we be today? Some times you have to just laugh at peoples ignorance. Live it up and do what you do, as long as you are satisfied and happy. Just like one of my favorite sayings:
"Green jacket... Brown jacket... Who gives a $hit."
Lot of simple truth in that.
I was thinking last night. We all know that Xviper was a great person to have around. We all know how often he posted and how much time he spent with us here at the site. If I could ask him one question, I would ask him what he is going to do with all his spare time?
So pull out that keyboard and start posting again.

he is known as the forumn jack ass but yano wat. He never was a jackass to me and if he was i woulda just laugh it off cuz it just him. He helped me on a lot of things and always the first person to respond to my issues. Sad that he gone =( sign me up =)
