oil change takes all of ten minutes.

additionally one of our sponsors sells a quick change drain valve you can use to make it even easier. if you're not lowered you can just slide a pan under the car, pop the hood and reach down to open the valve.
yeah i really doubt they would know what u were doing.......esp. with the car still being on the ground. can just tell them u were topping it off if someone asks.....noone will think you are changing oil w/o it being on stands and w/o you laying underneath it

unless you live in some nazi apartment complex, a ten minute oil change isnt going to bother anyone...

no one would even know what you were doing unless they came up an asked, all an oil change requires on all but the lowest cars is a popped hood and a low profile catch pan.

i put my new wheels on in my gf's apt parking lot on saturday afternoon. the people that drove by while i was doing it gave me thumbs up for getting rid of those lame ap1s.
Lol, the apmt comples where your gf lives has nice owners. I was test fitting some wheels in an apmt complex parking lot where the wheel owner lives when another home owner walked by. Five minutes later the guy comes back and said that I couldn't do that there. The other owner had gone back to his apmt to get something and so I just told the guy I had a flat.

Here's a link to the Fumoto Valve.

I think the car in the video is lowered. If Autozone doesn't have it, you can buy a low profile oil drain pan at Wal-Mart.

yeah, a local guy sells the valve. i can get to the drain bolt from the top anyway. but i havent found any oil pans low enough to fit under my car and hold an entire oil change worth of oil.

considering mobil1 is $23 and a napa gold (same / better than oem) filter is $8 i'd would wonder where they're cutting corners if an oil change is only $35.

Doubt the dealer is using full synthetic oil in the 35 dollar oil change.

If you don't want to use stands or a ramp, back in the day, we used to drive one side of the car up on a curb and lie under it in the gutter. (yes, literally lie in the gutter). Of course it was a bit easier to drive a Chevelle up on a curb than an S.

I saw a guy changin his oil once at a self-serve car wash place using a pair of ramps. Not like anyone is going to say anything since nobody is working there.
