so messed up, i bet he just let the oil drain into the water drain in the bottom of the bay. thats jail time..

Well, thanks for all the advice guys, that was way more than I was expecting. This forum is great. Once I get my S I will pay for a platinum membership.

I'm lucky i live in the farthest back apartment, but the nosy apartment manager always walks around checking things. They wouldn't even let me work on my bike, so I usually have to do things as fast as i can, or on the weekends when they are off.

Get an oil extractor from the local PEP Boys. Just have to slide tube down the dipstick hole and create a vacuum and it will suck all the oil out within ten minutes. Do you work on the weekends late at night.

The fumoto valve makes oil changes a breeze! Get the one with the extension and the nipple, and get yourself a hose from Lowe's or Home Depot that fits the nipple. Makes oil changes easy and cleaner on a windy day.
