My numbers did not relate to any specific model year; only to registered owners who identified their colors. But it's a huge sampling and there highly accurate.
Ok, I misread. Your statistic is generally what I wanted.

If white came without the tan interior, i'd be driving it right now. Tan just doesn't do anything for me.

I'm pretty sure GP White and S Blue are the two rarest colors in the US when you lump both the yellows together.

As for interiors, you can always buy a new interior and install it in any S, so you could make a 05 GPW with Red interior. if I'd thought about that when getting my S, I probably would have gotten NFR and installed the tan/black interior. Or black/blue in a Silverstone...

Actually white & tan have been traditional sports car colors for ages - many of the early Jags, MGs, etc. were/are that combo. It definitely would have been my 2nd choose (maybe even first) if it would have been available in 2001. That combo was first offered in 2003.

Saki that would be way too cost prohibitive. We are talking thousands and thousands. Much cheaper to find someone who would switch interior colours with you.

Yeah but then you can just buy an NSX and get the interior the same color as the exterior
