Rob, Welcome to the club!!!! I just turned 47....My kids all accuse me of having the "mid-life crisis". My response to them is "I finally got what I have been waiting 30 years for!!!!!" Happy "top-down" driving! Weather today in Alabama will be 71. Had to put the top down this morning on the way to work - it was 45 and GREAT!!! Can't wait until my lunch break.........I might not come back to work....

Thought I'd include a picture of the

Had to just about kiss the tarmac to get this angle...

 

I just ran into this exact car....well not literally ran into, but saw him. I went out to grab me some lunch, and I just "felt" the presence of an S2K in my near viscinity.

I was in my Enterprise "loaner" today, a 2001 Blue Chevy Malibu. I turned my head to the right and I saw this Bright Red Beauty gleaming...no, it was radiating this red hue like it was radioactively charged (I don't know if this is possible, it's just a connection I make from watching cartoons back in the day). I had to introduce myself and meet the driver.

I pulled up next to the car and introduced myself, the driver was friendly and had this aura of joy radiating like the color of the car.

RW, it was very nice to meet you and I hope that I run into you more, maybe at IL meets...which I plan to organize a big one after Asheville.

RW, beautiful ride, welcome aboard (to ownership and membership), hope to hear from you soon.

Beautiful ride, look out for the men in blue with their lights on top of their cars. I hear red attracts much attention. I mean the s2000 attracts enough attention already, but add red, look out. Cops=Ticket=Insurance hikes=YUCK

I only have a week to wait now until my Stook arrives, I cannot wait to join you guys in the enjoyment that is the S2k, and the weather here in London is getting better - slowly!
