Ok.. the first two days of my invidia I thought I was going to blow my brains out cuz of the drone. Had it for a while and got used to it. Ok... it's got a great note, but the drone was killer.
have been reading about how the drone goes away some with a non-resinated test pipe.. was skeptical... BUT.... installed my invidia testpipe today..and OMG.
The drone is gone...
if you are worried about an invidia get the testpipe... the drone is almost gone, it's got a very small rpm range that it's bad. it's loud though.. VERY loud outside.... it sounds how this car SHOULD sound....

So if you have an invidia catback... get a testpipe... NOW.....

 

well I would com to you place and listen but your 3k miles away. LOL can you post a video or sound clip of it??

 

soon as I figure out what happened to my memory stick for my camera.. .though if you look around the forums specops_2087 I think has a decent video.... doesn't represent how great it sounds though

 

good news! i got the test pipe already, and just waiting on the exhaust.

it does excatly that elimanates the drone and makes it sound great. for me tho it made my invidia sound like a civic above 5k but below that it sounded so sick. i ended up takin my cat back off and sellin due to the rice boy sound it had above 5k

 

Any more of these testpipe testimonials and I may have to just spend the money and get one to go with my V3 Invidia.
