Default yokohama es100 - need input

yokohama es100

anyone wrap their 18s w/ these tires? i'm seriously considering these bc of a killer price that was offered to me. i've only heard these could get loud for daily driving, however these were from non-s2k owners that i heard from. any input is appreciated.

now thats what i like to hear.. cheap=good to go. for yokos, price was too good to pass up. cant really notice the noise from my kumho 712s, but is there really that much of a difference?

I'd rather have the ES100's than the Kumho 712's, but on my S, neither of those crappy tires will ever see road time on my car. At least get some MX's...

Yeah, $350 is a really good deal, but I'd still opt for some better rubbers. I've had both. Kumho was really squeaky and felt like I was sliding all over the place, even on moderate-speed turns. Yoko's were better, and the wet traction was good, but the grip wasn't there. For STRICTLY daily driving purposes, it'd be ok, but be careful if you ever go on spirited runs.
