Hey, you guys get the new S2K with the 2.2 and for under US$31K. Spare the thought for this guy who can only get the 2.0 and has to reach in his back pocket for AUD$75K (About US$60K). So, I'm looking around for some 2nd hand ones. And will need some advice when the time comes.

Cars in AU are usually more expensive though. In Canada they are close to $40,000 USD

In Singapore there is some 170% road tax... i.e. you must pay 170% of the car's value to drive it, and then you have to renew its road license every 10 years at some other high fee!

In Germany the S2000 sold at some 30500 EUR (USD 36k) but add 16% sales tax and that went up to 36k EUR (USD 42k!)

Used prices drop quickly though. Espeically on big luxury cars like the A8, up to 40% depreciation in the first year can be expected!
