Default You only appreciate things once they're gone.

I put my S2000 in storage during the last week of October here in Toronto, and ever since then I haven't driven her. I used to start her up once a month, let her warm up, clean her a tad, and park her back in. Everyday I walk into my garage and this sexy red beast is just sitting there, not saying a word, but facing the street with that grinning front bumper. Waiting to get driven again in March.

The weather on Friday was super nice here, sunny with maybe 0 degrees Celsius So I took her for a quick drive to work to get my paycheck, and this quickly turned out to be a full evening event.

DAMN I miss driving this car SO much. To be honest, driving it DD in the summer made me really bored and used to it, and was already looking for an improvement. But having been driving a POS 1991 Pontiac Sunbird (auto) winter beater for the past 3 months, and covering my face from all the girls passing me, made me realize what a beautifully crafted car this is.

I'm so proud to be an S2000 owner. The clean shifts, the incredible interior, it's SEXINESS, the magnificent underpowered performance that beats all, the fun factor, the looks you get and people asking you if it's a BMW or Porsche, and of course, top always down.

I used to be jealous of owners in Florida, California, Texas, etc, because they can drive their cars all year round. But not having something makes you appreciate it so much more. And as most owners of the S2000 can relate, once you start driving this car, nothing else matters. Top down in the car you wanted for such a long time, wind in your hair, good music, and a friend beside you is what life is all about. Good times with something you've worked so hard for.

Cheers to everyone waiting until spring!

You got to move somewhere with more sunny days.

I hear you though. We've been top up here in Northern California due to poor weather for a few weeks now. Looking forward to cruising with the top down soon.

Love the first photo. NFR is so vibrant against the dull colors of winter.

Love the AP2 V1's, they look simply excellent. Very clean.

Only a couple more months until warmer weather!

Enjoy in good health!

Brushed mine off, drove it last on the 29th of December. Was -10c, top always down of course.

Amazing day of getting a mix of weird looks and compliments and goofy smiles. Had a girl in the car from texas for 2 hours of random driving, she kept telling me to put the top up, I said I didn't buy a convertible to drive it with the top up!

Went to a restaurant, waitress asked where we want to sit. I said by the window so I can admire my car, she gave me a smile and then stuck us right beside where my car was parked outside. She asked me how old I was and how I had a Porsche at my age. I said I'm good with money

Can't wait until spring... I'm dying little by little every day I see it sitting there lol

LOL I like the grin on your face with the top down

I'm also storing mine in my underground parking lot in Toronto, I do laps in the underground twice a week.
