haha dont worry about what people are saying on here. People act they are driving experts but in reality they are just as ignorant as you and I when it comes to driving.
Be safe out there and have fun!!

Nobody has said they are driving experts, if you read some of the previous post's we actually said the opposite. We agree we arent driving experts or something, but the kid is 16, hasnt been driving long, and has a lot to learn. Going to the track will show him a different perspective on things.
s2papi....plz stop bro....its great you are that passionate about your position in having the car, and if you race on the streets that is your perogative, as others said there are great risks associated and some of them speak from experience....but even reading this last page of comments pains me....just walk away, and no one will care/be hurt/remember....live it down man.
plus a lot of what you are saying does not add up. oh, and i drive spirited often, on a mt. road i live near, but i have been in 0 street races. not doing one but doing the other doesnt make it more safe. just a tip. they dont care. you dont care what they say clearly..so move on.

Noones hurt man no offense taken by any of this. Just sharing my opinion and hearing others creative criticism. Just getting some education of what some of these guys think might make me a better driver.
Track days, fyi, aren't like a real-life version of Gran Turismo...starting grid + swapping paint and the like.
It's just you and your car...testing the limits of your own ability (you won't outdrive the S...believe me).
Sure, there are other cars out there, but if you catch up to one, they'll only serve to hold you up and hurt your lap time (no open passing until you're much more experienced).
You will come away from it with a better understanding of your car and it's limits...but also of your own.
Street racing is a completely different itch to scratch. It's something that tests the invincibility of youth...and the rush you feel is equal parts breaking the law and the danger of living on that edge.

I know how the track days are ive seen all the videdeos and what not. I still think it would be a nice way to drive passionately and have fun while not risking a ticket or hurting someone. And to whoever said i dont really have an s2k your an idiot look at all my older posts i have all kinds of pictures and stuff of me and my car

I wonder if this thread would've gone out of contorl as it did if we all wrote how we would normally talk in person.
I agree with Ed, let's calm down a little

so who wants to help push my 500rwhp S2000 shell back into my garage?
