I bought my car about 5 months ago...I am 20. I have a nice stiff bill of $4000 a year, along with financing my baby.

 

I was 15 when I got my S2000. I'm 16 now.

BTW, yes I am paying for my car. I only need one job for my car payment and insurance.

 

Bought mine right after I turned 20. Insurence is 1750 a year but thats with my S and my porsche.

I am under my parents policy because I simply could not find a company to insure me under 4000 a year. I can't get insurence on the porsceh until I am 24 as it is a classic policy.

 

Heh... I'm 27...

I pay $150 Canadian per month... around $95USD/month for insurance... heheheheh

I am not in any way knocking young people having above median priced vehicles, but if you guys are not fibbing.......I find it amazing what some will put themselves through to drive a car. for the $4000 a year you are paying in insurance, you would nearly have paid for the car by your 25 birthday in insurance payments alone. again, I am not a hater. I just like liquid wealth over material wealth.

 

I've been 21 since February, and all bills are paid by myself. Never been babied by mommy and daddy.

Insurance OWNS me. I'm going to be paying serious premiums when the car arrives less than a month from now. Possibly more than my previous high of $3,200 anually.
