he's not home.
i'll just have to wait for him to respond to my e-mail.

 

he responded a couple days ago, and sent back the headlights through ups. i have the tracking number, and it comes in on january 6th. i'm still trying to get money back from him, 'cause the 'market value' for the headlights is very far away from (half) what it was 274 days ago.

 

Best of luck. First of all, see if the headlights get back to you in the same condition you sent them.

 

I know it's been a long frustrating situation; however, if you get your goods back - consider yourself fortunate and the rest as a learning experience.

As for trying to get both the goods and additional money, forget it. First of all, I don't agree that the market value has changed at all and seondly, it's like trying to get blood from a rock -- it's not worth the additonal frustration or time. Smile and move on, lifes to short.

 

i know what you mean dlq, but they were oem "cleared" headlights. they had some pits in them, but were worth about $450 considering the oem "cleared" headlights that were in excellent condition were going for $600-$650 at the time. since rick's diffusers came out, the price of the cleared headlights has dropped since it's not as 'pretty' as the one's with the diffusers.

edit: i got them in, but i'm still trying to see how much i can get back from him.
