Honda says it doesn't need a break-in? The manual says the contrary...

I believe the main point of break-in is for you TO KNOW YOUR CAR.

At first I can't believe that the car is so much different and hard to control at first than i thought it would be. The VTEC actually scare the shitz out of at first. Now it still given me a heart stop. hahhaha

KNOWS YOUR CAR!!!! BEFORE YOU DO SOMETHING CRAZY!! LIKE FLY!!!

first vtec was in my accord 02, it's like a turbo, you get all the turbo lags and noise but without the power.(sohc econo-sh9t box)

it was very disappointing compare to mildly built b series, so the idea stuck. The next thing i know i am boosting the paper weight sohc. (which is the only thing it's good for)

after having a boosted car for a while, vtec will never impress you anymore.(especailly when you can have a boosted car with decent gas mileage now a day)

First VTEC was in a 96 GSR (B18C1) and I thought that pulled hard. Well until I put a turbo on it. Turbo + VTEC =

But VTEC in the S2K was right around 600 miles and wow, so sexy.

first vtec was in my friends 99 civic SI. not stock at all. that thing screamed in vtec.

first vtec in my s2k was during the test drive. it was a used car, so it was already broken in. it was amazing. i was on rt. 9 in old bridge, nj and he told me to take it up high in the rpm band to see what the car can do.
