this thread is damn good i see problems of braking and seats showing age in almost every 1 of 3 s2k soo guys take car of your brakes and seats
Don't consider the brake work to be a reliability problem. Brakes are wear items - replacing worn pads and even rotors is normal and expected maintenance, especially if you drive the car the way it was meant to be driven.

Tires and wheels are different sizes, and cannot be rotated. Don't worry, just expect to replace your rear tires twice as often as the fronts. I find that rear tires are good for 7-10k miles.

Modifications: Berk testpipe -- other visual stuff
your care car by 1 - 10 rating : 10
your maintenience care by 1 - 10 : 10
type of driving ( example drag circuit winding road ) : Mixed driving (Daily Driver)
your driving type from 1 - 10 soft to hard: 7 (Never hard lauched it)
problems and issues since you first bought your s2k =
- Clutch buzz
- Tear in top
- Wear on driver seat
- Plastic windows needs to be replaced.
- Cupholder doesn't work well (Any tips?)
- Lock for storage doesn't work well
- Accessory belt will soon need to be replaced.
- Replaced Strikers (Worn)

reliability 1 - 10 : Haven't had the car long enough yet. Lots of preventative/normal maintenance (Motor oil, tranny oil, diff oil, Brake fluid, Air filter, spark plugs, pcv valve, cabin fliter)
Get the Cupholders that miata guys run. Its sort of ugly when in use, but it folds up nicely, just a black square. mmmiata.com is where I purchased it. Installed with 1 screw onto the passenger footwell side, where that weird button screw is (small flap for holding random crap?) Ill take pics/ explain better if you want
