Are your tires inflated at 32 PSI?

On a sidenote, I heard Infiniti's got this new gadget for their SUVs. It tracks the lane markers on either side of the vehicle, and if you begin a lane change (or begin wandering) without first using the turn signal, the system will emit a loud, high-pitched shriek to warn the driver. I'm sure it may help those rare occassions that I get that tired at the wheel, but I bet that'll get real annoying real fast, otherwise.

Check tires cold. When below 32, add air up to 34. Repeat weekly.

i run 33-34 PSI on my 03, gives better tire wear. use 32 PSI for maximum comfort.

God help us through the nannyism - you are probably too young to know that Congress passed a law that for while would have forced us to enter codes in a keypad to allow our car to start - too slow and it was presumed you were drunk, and the ignition locked up.

On the other hand, US drivers are pretty bad on lane change protocol - most SUV's seem to use it to alert the S2000 driver that the lane he currently occupies is about to be invaded, usually when the invasion is already half-completed.
I a reminded of Ridney Dangerfield's yacht "Seafood" in Caddyshack, when he yanks the wheel and says "I wanna go over dare" and proceeds to create sunami wakes, and of course, the demise of "Ted's" little sloop.

Are you supposed to check tires when they are cold or warm?

Thanks
