I tried ~140-143mph-ish on my BB6 SH once (speedo was showing around 155mph-ish if I remember correctly ... which I heard was inaccurate)

Never done anything crazy like that anymore ... too scary ... and yes, that was when I was still a kid

156 mph in a 400hp Eclipse. It was still pulling and I got scared and lifted. Not sure how accurate speedo is at those speeds but it did have stock wheels/tire diameter.

Fastest in the S - 118 on the Cherohala Skyway at Wake the Dragon 06
Fastest in any car - 167 in a 94 RX7 on 59 South in Houston (10 years ago @ 3pm in the afternoon - very stupid thing to do)

Oh, the S very stable
The RX7 pretty stable, the windows were buffeting though. It gave me the adrenaline shakies in the legs though.

I had my SRT-10 Ram past 150 on the speedo. WOW did that pucker my hole!! It stayed in a straight line and didn't feel like it was lifting. Calm day in Northern Illinois somewhere between Galena and Rockford.

Amazing that a pickup truck can do that. Aerodynamics of a 4x8 sheet of plywood and the giant open bed in back. The Urethane/fiberglass wing on the tailgate was vibrating and flexing about 3 inches up and down at that speed.

Talk about brutal acceleration. The rate that my speed increased didn't slow down till I let off the pedal. I don't know how accurate the speedometer is but the Guniess Book of World Records clocks that truck at 154.xxx mph. Fastest production truck in the world.
