Your Top Speed
3 weeks ago I went to Belgium for a "go and meet your colleagues in another enviroment" thing, organised by the company I work(ed) for.
415 km one way, in a 4 1/2 hour drive.
A colleague asked if he could drive with me.
I figured, why not?
Anyway..
He drove for a bit too, and noticed that my S2000 drives no different at 80 km/h or 175 km/h.
Just faster. I agreed
(Yes, he had the guts to drive that fast in another mans car.
I did wrote down the time when he was driving... speeding tickets, ect
)
To the point:
I've driven as fast as it would go in Germany and noticed the same.
Just faster and a LOT more noise (maybe a bit more wobbely).
257 km/h.
Next week or so I might see how the 4.57's reduced my top speed.

Wtf kind of car were you driving

A driver died on the opening weekend of Riverside International Raceway and a Driver died during the very last event that was held at Riverside International Raceway. The track ended the way it started...two dead drivers
I think 175 mph may have been possible in a race prepared street car on the original Riverside configuration that had a 1.1 mile back straight. I dun't know if that would be possible after they, in 1969 added the dog leg and widened turn 9, thus shortening the back straight

In 2003, plans were announced in northern California, near Merced, to build a 3-mile road course with a similar design to the famed Riverside layout, with a major difference in a chicane and Turn 9 (the track will be known as the Riverside Motorsports Park).
