160 mph -- 1995 Camaro Z28 (used the nitrous from 110mph and pulled to 160mph before I slowed the car down because I was running out of road). Front end felt light at 150mph, but the car was still stable.

155 mph -- 2005 Subaru WRX STi. Surprisingly felt stable and glued to the road at that speed. 130-135mph lap, after lap, after lap on the front straight at Willow Springs Raceway.

175 + mph -- 2002 Porsche GT2 as a passenger with a ex-pro driver behind the wheel at Willow Springs Raceway.

The highest I've had my S2K was 130 MPH while racing a BMW 330i. It felt very stable but any slight movements of the wheel were easily noticed. Oh and it... WAS LOUD!!!! I had both windows rolled down and the noise of the wind hitting the mirrors was insanely loud. Definitely adds to the "Feels Fast" factor.

147 mph in my old 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT . It was topped out but held that speed for a bit. Was on a highway without any major sharp turns and it did ok .

146 mph in my S. I can see how some people think it's scary. could probably use some properly applied downforce, and a good spoiler on the back to keep the rear from getting too squirrely. Other than that wasnt too bad.

my only complaint is that it does take quite a while to get higher speeds after 115-120 mph. of course im stock, but hey, what can I say

Some time back I started a thread in the Racing forum discussing the fact that my car was twitchy at speeds in excess of 130 MPH, and frankly the car was a little scary. As it turned out, my alignment guy had set the rear toe wrong the last time he'd aligned the car and neither of us had caught it. With near zero rear toe my AP1 was downright nasty at speed.

Since then I've seen 150 on the speedometer, and beyond that I'm not looking at the speedometer. However, I have made it to the fourth beep from the Modifry shift beeper, which is probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 160 (I have 4.30 gears, so it's not as fast as a stock S is going at redline). The car feels very sure footed, but I'm doing this stuff on a very wide, very smooth, non-public road. Anybody driving that fast on a public road is out of their friggin' mind.
