Mine's the one that they noticed pointing towards the front. I bought my S brand new and never had any bodywork done. BUT I'm sure that my car is faster as it's more aerodynamic towards the front.
Just because you bought the car new does not mean it has never had bodywork done on it. Dealers have cars with "issues" all the time.

But I suppose it's possible somebody in the factory just had a bad day.

Markers with the bevel toward the front of the car have thier markers on backwards. YES, there IS a difference as to which way to put them on. If they are backwards they are a PITA to try to get off. Don't believe me? Try it! Just make sure you have money to give to Rick for new ones when you break the tab off the back.

Yep because they are in wrong.
Actually, the bevel to the rear makes sense. It's purpose is to allow someone coming up beside you from the rear who is past your tail lights to see your turn signal. Makes no sense for it to bevel forward as if the other guy is far enough forward for the bevel to be aimed at him, he can see your front turn signals and you can see him.

There was a worker in the Tochigi plant, Yamada Taro, who liked to buck the trend a bit, so he installed the indicators backwards on S2000s helped assemble.

According to Honda news, Mr. Taro was fired shortly after the the error was found.

That's why in later models the blinkers are correct again.

I heard Mr. Taro now works for a body shop.
