Default z4 folding top for the s2k

im obviously not talking about a transplant, but the way the top folds like a Z with the top finishing in a clean rear makes ours look ameteurish. anyone know if the design would work on the S or a reason why it wouldn't?

The Land Rover salesmen in town drove Toyotas.

The Mercedes dealership had a Honda Odyssey as their shuttle.

The Porsche dealership... well they all drove 911s.

OK... I have had this conversation plenty of times and this is my take on "Z" folding tops.

You know how our tops are a little sun bleached on the inside front quarter right?

Well... think about this...

A "Z" folding soft top's front quarter will ALWAYS be exposed to the sun, no matter if it is up or down... now, logic would tell me that eventually the front quarter of the soft top.... being constantly exposed to the sun.... will be a different color from the rest of the top.

Now... how nasty is that going to look in 3-4 years?... no thanks, I'll keep my ameteurish top.

Good point but you can always use the convertible topcare for it. I don't think it's a big deal..
