I think the 2004 model should be the same as the 2003. There weren't many changes...I don't even know if there were any at all. As far as I know they are the same...hehe....but then again I could be wrong...

I'm thinkin about getting lights on the bottom of my car (you know, the type from the FF movies). How hard is it to do though, I don't trust the shop so I plan to do it myself. I just a need a basic hard or not hard answer. Thanks! ...

around $400/month AAA. I'm 18 (I know I'm young and I want to stay that way!!)...

I've been imagining the Lambo look (upward opening doors) on the S2k for a while, but I've seen the prices they charge in the shops. It's a lot. I asked a shop a few blocks away from my home in Cali and they charge about 2k-5k(according to my brother) depending if they have any complications.

I'm just curious

How hard is it to put Vertical Doors on your car?

And, Hi!!!...
might as well add some more.. flame flame flame!

i must be confused, i just read all this, and it seems everyone here rode the short bus to school? uhm, if shes in an 04, then yeah 6th is fine on the freeway. car is quite happy there, around 4500 at 80. now if your talkin in VTEC, then yeah it does get scary if your new to that much speed. take 5th to the fuel cut and then shift to 6th and stay in it, 5th tops at 125. from there you have all the way to 167. well, in a stock 04, it takes forever after you clear 135. but if you get an intake, youll see a big diff up top, now my car continues to pull till i let off. ive had it to 161, and then ran out of room. and did it from a roll on in less than a mile. but thats another story. girl use 6th, it wont hurt anything. and get an AEM v2 coldair, so we can see a girl makin some noise. laters dave
Yeah, I was confused to. I guess they all mean reaching the end of 5th and having to shift to 6th.

BTW, whats up with Barry in Wyoming? Emergency gear??? Dude, you ever heard of saving gas? Do you cruise down the interstate at 8500rpms in 3rd? I'm in 6th all day long on the freeway. No sense in revving the hell out of your engine for nothing.

Highwayhottie, on that thing about Lambo door. There have been nightmare stories about the frame bending and everything with those. Be extra careful and definitely do your research. I've talk to too many S owners that wish they never done that mod.

I think you're right after rereading his post. I'm kinda slow on the uptake. I think I'm in one of those "challenge everybody" moods today. Maybe I should start another "which year is better" thread.

Sixth gear? Yah I've used it but I've never used reverse, I can't find it, I see the pattern on the knob but can't seem to get to it. So I just do a 180 burn out instead of reversing, its much more fun anyway. BTW I've only had my S a couple of weeks so its not broken in yet, I'm sure once I can VTEC it, my 180 burn outs will be even sweeter.

Cracks me up how much we rag on people who know next to nothing about cars. This reminds me of another thread on another forum in which someone was tryin to convince some unsuspecting fool to bring his car to the shop and ask to have his flux capacitor fluid checked, hahaha Go easy on the girl... she's young and doesn't realized that neons has died out w/ 8 tracks.
