I'm looking to get a new top, I want a glass rear window..

Is there a easy way to go about doing it?

 

Easy part - order a new top with a glass window. $550 - $700

Hard part - installing it yourself (been there done that)

Easier still - let someone else install it

There are a lot of conversion kits for plastic rear window owners. I put my own in and it took ~ 12 hours by myself. I don't think I'd like to do that again for a long time but saving between 600-800 dollars was probably worth the effort.

is there an easy way? no, not really. can it be done? sure

 

Yes. Buy a glass conversion top. or buy a used frame with glass top for an easy install.

 

Glass Window-equipped top = $800
Installation of new top with window = $500
Being able to see what's in my rearview mirror with the top up = PRICELESS

 

It's great being able to use my rear view mirror with the top up but I hate the narrow field of view haha, better than plastic for sure though.
