Default All Electronics are shutting off.

OK my car is a 2003 with a test pipe, catback exhaust, and AEM intake. Nothing on the car has been change, other than the oil and tires in 3 years. 3 Weeks ago my car wouldn't start I suspected the battery. Took it into Autozone battery was indeed dead, so I replaced it. Got home installed the new battery and everything started up fine.

Since then I have had some sporadic problems. At idle or very low RPMs all of the cars electrics and the engine will shut off. It immediately regains power and starts up instantly. Once it actually prompted me for the radio code after this happened. I have reset the ECU and nothings seems to have changed. Today all the electrics died but it came back on quickly enough to not kill the engine.

Any ideas here?

What is the most effective way to do that?

I guess I could disconnect the negative terminal while the engine is running and see what the voltage of the battery is.

How should I measure the ground of the battery besides verifying the cable is in adequate shape?

Do not run the car with the battery disconnected. Physically check the ground. Remove and replace it while cleaning the post.

Have your dash lights been flickering lately?

Not at all, the only other odd behavior is when I clutch in to come to a stop the revs will dip down to 1 0r 2 lines on the tach. However the car isnt stalling at this point.

with sideways.

sounds like a bad connection...i had a similar issue, and there was corrosion on the inside of the positive cable and when i cleaned it up, everything worked perfectly.

So would vibrations be causing the corrosion to cause a battery disconnection?
