I threw a rod in my 07 ap2 and destroyed my head as well. I have an inlinepro bottom end on the way but I also need a head. I understand I can use a 00-05 head but with some modifications. Anyone have a guide or that can lend some advice here?

 

Also interested. Dbw vs throttle cable would be an obvious issue.

 

That should be settled by the manifold. As would injectors fuel rail etc.

Looks like replace everything inside with ap2 stuff and block off the "egr". I wonder about the Valve cover sensors.

 

You need to use the 06+ valve cover, cam sensor and trigger wheel.
