I’ve been hearing a ticking noise for some time now, sounds much like the baseball card in the spokes sound and seems to be worse at 3000+ RPM and the ticking speeds up. I replaced the timing chain tensioner and it seems to have gotten louder. Plus, seems it might be losing oil. Any suggestions/diagnosis?

What kind of tensioner?
