i have a 2001 ap1 with a comptech flywheel and it use ot have a heavy duty 4 puck act and PP to match but recent cause me to tear 2nd gear out and it was off and on not very streetable so im going to the oem PP and disc since my car id DD for now i hear the 04's have a better clutch and the part #'s are different than 01 but do they both work with my flywheel and is the rumor that one is a little better true or not... i know i should jsut get the hard top guy kit but i have to pay to fix my tranny plus get a new clutch so money is tight right now... p.s. or how are the exedy oem replacements... please no sarcasm i've had a hard enough week as it is... thanks

 

The clutch is the same from any year S2000. Going OEM is a not a bad thing and it will work with your Comptech flywheel. You can also keep the ACT PP and just buy the OEM disc ($100.00) that will give you the package HardTopGuy sells.

well the pp isn't the same part number as hardtopguy sells its more aggresive i believe since its for a 4 puck clutch

 

i know my 2000 clutch felt wayy harder then my 03 clutch that i have right now.

my 03 clutch feels like a bitch clutch its terrible. sooo light its not even funny.
