Default 04 OEM brake pads....

Has anybody any feedback on the new and improved 04 OEM brake pads? I have an 03 and will need new pads soon. I run about 15+ autoX and 3-4 track days per summer and was considering something like the Carbotech Bobcat but perhaps the new 04 OEM pads would do?

No Honda OEM pad is going to hold a candle to a real performance pad. They just have too many compromises to make for "streetability" to be able to truly optimize the compound.

Something like Hawk HP+ (NOT HPS) or Cobalt GT Sports should suit you fine without going to a full blown track compound.

PM Me if you want more info.

I don't see a difference between 01 and 04 pads... except for the fact that the 04 pads DUST A LOT... a whole lot. If you really feel the need to stick with an OEM pad, stick with 00-03 pads.

FWIW, one of my first mods on my 04 will be new brake pads...

I saw on Speed channel something about ceramic pads for BMW that do not create dust on the wheels. Does anyone know anymore about this?
