10k rev turbo?
Was doing some search and all i could find was some old threads from 2006 and older, wonder what it would take for a f20c-turbo to rev 10k with gains up to 10k?
list of mods i might be doing for a build.
supertech valvtrain
not sure if im going to need cams?
Stock ports on head
stock IM, tb
sleeved block-mid wet darton sleeves
cp pistons either 10:1 or 11:1
bc rods 625+
oem headgasket
acl bearings
arp bolts on whatever is taken out
micro polish crank-should i rebalance the crank?
My goal is around 650-700whp
on a gt35r
all help is very appreciated

Think you want to make an engine that has more of its power and torque, at a lower RPM. With a flatter powerband. Much more flexible. A 10K monster would be like riding a hopped-up 125cc bike. Having to peg the throttle to get any power.

First thing to fail is the ARP studs. They have no place in this engine, and nowhere NEAR the clampdown force of an oem head bolt.
Next are the universal fit acl bearings.

You need to do serious modifications to the head to get to 10k, essentially re-engineering the cylinder head, and like Billman said, you are seriously reducing the reliability by going that high. 8,800rpm is more than enough. If you are going to turbo, the only thing I'd do to the engine is put in a block guard, the FRM cylinders will not crack like conventional liners will, the only drawback is the open deck design. Other than that, this engine was made for boost, stock engine with a block guard can reliably run ~550whp all day long.
l19 head bolts arent as strong as oem? And dont mind me asking but whats wrong with acl bearings? Dont most of the high hp s2k run acl bearings? Recommended bearings,
