Recently i had 4 valves replaced because of an over-rev (the whole 3rd into 2nd ordeal) . I'm glad to have it back and running but i've noticed that from 1k until vtec takes wayy too long. Honestly I'm not too sure if it naturally takes this long or what.
Other than that its running fine. Maybe I'm just paranoid of power loss because of all that happened. If anyone has any opinion or advice to what could have happened i would appreciate it.

What did you pay for the valves?

 

just curious does your car bog down when starting off in 1st gear;
if so maybe you could check your throttle cable for any slack;
that could cause bad throttle response.just a thought
i noticed mine was slack and it caused my car to feel this way.

dyno it. but the 1-6 range on the car is slow, just like you said. tends to pickup around seven.
