I have soome info about questions asked ealrier about rod size (that sounds terrible) the new rods will actually be shorter then stock and the wrist pin will actually be mounted higher in comparison to stock set up. the rod ratios will be very close to the stock ratios.

right now inline is working on blktrbs2ks car he is getting the bottom end built for his turbo set up, so i have to wait to take my car in. The bottom end is built though and my car should go into the shop begining of next week and hopefully back by the end of the week. after that i will half to break in the motor then i plan on getting some video of the car for you guys once it is broken in. also i'm going to get some pics of the bottom end assembled next week.

From one pig (EE) to another, the rod length must change unless you wish to change the deck height of the motor or relocate the piston pin (and the latter only allows a few mm of movement on most engines).

Additionally, stroking an engine changes port velocity in a variety of ways and can dramatically affect the overall performance of the engine.

Okay so when Honda stroked the motor 8% they dropped the redline to about 8K.

2 ???'s

When and where is the NOPI show in NC?

After doing this could you still add a supercharger and a turbo and still add 100 plus hp?

I'm not much of a mechanic so I have no Idea.

Thanks,

Mrcln1

As far as I know (I'm no expert)- yes you could add a turbo or supercharger after this....however neither of those really work well with high compression ratios (increased danger of detonation?). I believe the stroker kit raises the compression ratio to around 11.5:1. I think on most motors the ideal CR for a s/c or turbo is around 9:1.

Somebody else should be able to correct me on this.
