Matt, what exhaust and header do you plan to run? I know for now the head will be stock along with VAFC instead of the EMS. How much power did the Inline guys told you this 2.5 liter will make?

From one pig (EE) to another, the rod length must change unless you wish to change the deck height of the motor or relocate the piston pin (and the latter only allows a few mm of movement on most engines).

Additionally, stroking an engine changes port velocity in a variety of ways and can dramatically affect the overall performance of the engine. I strongly recommend using more than a VAFC to tune this stroker engine.

BTW I'm a dirt mechanic too
I've never heard that one before. No wonder me and you enjoyed argueing so much in the previous thread.

Jeff, right now to inlines estimates we looking at 260whp but that is based off some really basic math 25% bigger motor 25% more fuel 25% more power. I think it will make that or a little more. My end goal here is 300 NA and if i can get 260 from the stroker then I think I can get 300 from other parts such as cams, header, ems and ITB's if nessecary. My set up when I get the car back is going to be Injen intake, Veilside teardrop, ACT 6 puck, VAFC2,Espelier springs, 2.5L kit and everything else is stock. i want to get rid off the Veilside and go with jic stainless with titanium muffler and eihter Toda or R*SR header maybe Amuse but i dont think ill spend the money on it.

The added bonus of replacing the Veilside teardrop is that your hearing may return... someday.
